Welcome to my first wine blog! My name is Yohanes Teka and I’ll be sharing my experiences with wine in my life so far. Amazingly, wine is actually the first alcoholic drink I had in my life! When I was younger, I was really curious what wine tasted like because I had a lot of friends and family that loved drinking wine on a regular basis. So, I gave it a try and as a kid who is used to drinking sweet beverages, I didn’t particularly enjoy the bitter and sour taste of it. I really questioned why my friends, family, etc. were drinking it so much and apart from the occasional sip here and there, I avoided drinking wine until I was much older. When I got older, I started to realize that there are many different types of wine like white, red, sparkling etc. and that there was much more for me to explore.
